Christmas Joy

It almost seems like I just realized for the first time this year how wonderful it is to celebrate Christmas! Jesus came so that we can have eternal life. That means all of God's children will be together for eternity! I thank God that all of my children are saved and we will be together forever! Isn't that good news?

Your Visit is Welcome and Nourishing

Have you lost a loved one? Does the pain sometimes feel overwhelming and unbearable? Please know that there is a place to take the pain. Jesus is the ultimate healer. We can take our pain to Him and He does heal. As Pastor Johnny Buckner taught me, we even have the power, through Him, to push the pause button on our pain when it becomes too much to bear.

Jesus has absorbed the pain of the tragic "loss" of my young adult son to depression. I put "loss" in quotes reflecting upon what Pastor Greg Jones eulogized: "You can't lose something when you know where it is!" As we share our experiences together on this blog we can help each other.
