I Need You

Did I already say that somewhere on this blog? Likely. Lesson learned -- I need people .. hugs .. care .. concern. Going to Holly's class - pointedly - less for exercise (I can and do at home), than to connect ... I hug people more ... maybe a few seconds too long... I visit friends more ... older people, younger people .... God made us that way ... a social people ...we need each other...

Your Visit is Welcome and Nourishing

Have you lost a loved one? Does the pain sometimes feel overwhelming and unbearable? Please know that there is a place to take the pain. Jesus is the ultimate healer. We can take our pain to Him and He does heal. As Pastor Johnny Buckner taught me, we even have the power, through Him, to push the pause button on our pain when it becomes too much to bear.

Jesus has absorbed the pain of the tragic "loss" of my young adult son to depression. I put "loss" in quotes reflecting upon what Pastor Greg Jones eulogized: "You can't lose something when you know where it is!" As we share our experiences together on this blog we can help each other.
